🔥 Freshly cut birch and alder firewood - directly from the manufacturer!
Freshly prepared firewood with a natural aroma and high calorific value . We deliver it directly to your home - no need to find a trailer or load it yourself.
💡 Storage: Store in a sunny, well-ventilated place , preferably on pallets to keep moisture from the ground. Cover only the top to allow free air flow.
🔥 When to fire: After 2–12 months of natural drying, the firewood will be ready, a lot depends on how you store it.
🌿 Recommendation: 🔥 How to speed up the drying of firewood:
- Split immediately after sawing → The smaller the logs and the more surface area, the faster the moisture evaporates. Ideally – slices up to 10–12 cm in diameter.
- Arrange in airy rows → Not tightly, but with gaps between the logs so that the wind can blow freely.
- Do not stack against the wall, but with a small gap (10–15 cm) to allow for drafts.
- Place in a sunny, open place → Not in the shade or at the edge of the forest! The best is the south or southwest side, where the sun shines and the wind blows.
- Raise off the ground → Use pallets or crossbars to allow air to circulate from below. Moisture from the ground is one of the biggest inhibitors to drying.
- Cover only the top, not the entire load → Rain doesn't get in, but air flow remains free. Ideally – a tarpaulin or a roof with an overhang.
- If possible, use a ventilated room or greenhouse. For example, in a ventilated shed, garage, or even a polycarbonate greenhouse, where the combination of heat and wind works wonders.
- An additional option is forced ventilation or an air circulator. Major manufacturers install fans or warm air blowers, which significantly shorten the time to 2-3 months.
📏 Result: If you do everything right (split, on pallets, in the sun, with air from all sides), then:
➡️ Alder dries in ~2.5–3 months
➡️ birch – about 3–4 months.
